2/12 8-9pm - Goblin Mode Improv - Western Sky Bar & Taproom - Englewood

"Unleash your inner goblin at GOBLIN MODE! Improv comedy for D&D audiences! We listen to your Tabletop RPG memories and turn them into laughs for fun and profit.

Have a good D&D story? Or a friend who does? You might be part of what makes this show unforgettable.

Our show starts with an audience member telling a story that happened in a game they really played. We ask them questions to find the interesting and funny details. Then we perform improvised scenes inspired by the story they told. We don't know what'll happen in the scenes, but we know it'll be absolute goblin behavior.

Check out our Instagram for show dates and clips! https://www.instagram.com/goblinmodecomedy/

The members of GOBLIN MODE are all experienced improv comedians and funny people who've played D&D (except for Ryan, he's our token normie - no one's allowed to tell him what DC stands for!) Most of us are Dungeon Masters ourselves.

If you're a D&D-liker, or D&D-curious, or your friends won't shut up about it: Join us for a night of comedy that'll make you fail your WIS save on Tasha's Hideous Laughter!"

2/14 12-4pm - Gamers Giving Game Exchange (Boardgames & RPGs)- Do Gooder Games Cafe - Thornton

Hosted by Gamers Giving, a local charity created by gamers to help out our communities and the people in them.

"Please bring your boardgames and role playing games to trade, sell or buy in the Do Gooder Games Event Room.

Please RSVP by leaving a comment on [the Facebook event] and feel free to share what you intend to bring if you wish.

Some games from the Gamers Giving Library will be there for sale, with the proceeds going to the charity.

Tickets for SpringGiving (06/13) and ThanksGaming (11/07) will be available for purchase as well.

This is also a great time to let us know about outreach opportunities in the community we should be aware of for 2026.

In addition, we would love it if anyone can beta test the GameSurf App to help facilitate the buy, sell, trade process. This App will be used at our events in 2026 for Gamers Giving Library checkouts."

Dungeons n' Drafts - Various Breweries on Various Nights

"Here to bring together the love of craft beverages + D&D in a friendly, welcoming environment. A setting perfect for all levels of experience."

Creator Corner

Here's where we highlight cool things from local creators. February is Zine Month, if you or someone you know is making something we'd love to hear about it!

Lorelock is raising funds to help people in Minnesota by playing their game RETRO/KILL. "R/K is a rules-light TTRPG about time travel, assassins, and the biggest bastards in human history. In R/K you play a Retrokiller, a post-human agent of the transtemporal Union of Concerned Assassins. You are an elite team with one mission: Travel to the past and eliminate your target before they destroy the future." Jack from Lorelock is looking to raise funds for the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota by hosting games of R/K online (and if there's enough interest, maybe an in person game in CO!). Interested in donating and playing online or in person? Fill out this form!

The work of local creator Josiah Moore was featured on the Between Two Cairns podcast! "Tiny Fables is a sandbox-style adventure for the tabletop RPG Mausritter. It is set in an old-growth forest warped by fae magic. Echoing the themes of classic folklore and fairy-tales, this module confronts players with the narrow distinction between warmth and darkness, cruelty and whimsy, and danger versus reward." Listen to the episode below, or check out Tiny Fables and Josiah's other beautiful work here.

Well that's all for the inaugural edition of the RPG Colorado Newsletter! Thank you very much for reading. We hope you find some games to play!
