Creator Corner
Here's where we highlight cool things from local creators.

Zine Month
"Once again, ZineMonth (ZiMo) returns to give creatives from all over an excuse to put together that tabletop role-playing zine together that they've been meaning to get around to all year and crowdfund a print run or raise funds to help finish it off.
The rules are pretty simple:
- Make a zine (or plan one out)
- Release it, make it, or launch a crowdfunding campaign to fund its creation
ZiMo is an independent, creator-run community event that includes videos, blog posts, podcasts, itch.io jams and a Discord server all to help zine-makers make the zines of their dreams — if you want to do something for it, go for it!"

Outcast Unseelie and the Ooze Between: For Shadowdark RPG Kickstarter - Ends Fri, February 27, 2026 9:00 PM MST.
The only Zine Month entry I could find from Colorado, also happens to look awesome! I'm not the only one who thinks so apparently as it smashed it's funding goal in an hour!
"A slime-slathered puzzle dungeon for Shadowdark RPG
Inside you'll find 32+ pages of adventure with challenging, open-ended gameplay—all with a dash of twisted fey whimsy. By backing this project, you help fund a print run of a full-color, staple-bound, A5 zine that includes:
- A powerful magic substance for your players to manipulate
- A highly interconnected two-level dungeon with 30+ rooms
- Unique ooze-themed monsters
- Fairy trinkets, both fair and foul
- Scheming fey for your players to ally with or against
- Dank art by Cameron Maas, Jaen Butler, and Kim Diaz Holm
- Enough content for 6+ hours of play
And if you love showing off NPC art and keeping info about them close at hand, get the NPC reference cards (3" x 4"), available as an addon and in the DELUXE adventure tiers."
FLGS Flyers
A section where we can highlight some of the Friendly Local Game Stores that make our state great for gamers.

Inconceivable Toys and Games - Castle Rock
Some sad news for the gaming scene, Inconceivable Toys and Games in Castle Rock made a FB post stating that they would be closing down at the end of the month. Here's the text of the post:
"Hey, guys, it's Jeremy. Sometimes life throws more at you than you can handle, sometimes your landlord wants to go in a different direction, sometimes you have to agree to disagree when getting divorced, and sometimes it all happens at once. All those things together mean the store is closing at the end of the month. It's been a crazy eight years that has seen us through military retirement, starting a business from scratch, several surgeries, covid, losing a child, and much more. I've had a love/hate relationship with the business side of things, but you guys have kept me going. My goal with the store has always been to give back to a community that has done an incredible amount for me. I certainly won't miss the stress or the hours, but I will miss providing a place for all of you. That being said, let's have a sale. Most items in the store will be 20% off for now. Sealed TCGs, events, and new release Warhammer won't be included, but I'll be discounting some TCGs we have overstock of. Games Workshop items that aren't new releases will be 10% off on top of the 15% we already mark off. All transactions paid in cash or with Zelle will get an additional 5% of regardless of what is purchased. All preorders already paid for will still be honored."
If you can, go in and show the crew some love.

Westword Best of Voting - Daily until March 9th
There's a ton of categories for Westword's Best of Denver poll for 2026. But the one most in line with our interests is best place to buy board games. The nominees are:
Black & Read Books, Music & Games - Arvada
Playforge - Littleton
The Wizard's Chest - Denver
MeH Games - Greenwood Village
Crit Castle Games - Aurora
Jacob's personal favorite is Black & Read, but you should all vote for your favorite. You can even write in an entry if your personal favorite isn't listed here. This is a simple way to show some love to your own FLGS.
Do us a favor by sharing this with your gaming groups. We're trying to make something that will be useful to all the gamers in our state and to help bring our communities together. (Peek behind the curtain, we've got 40 subscribers as of this writing, so every person truly does help!) Also let us know any feedback or suggestions you might have. We want to make this the best it can be and we'll need your help to do so.
Well that's all for this edition of the RPG Colorado Newsletter! Thank you very much for reading. We hope you find some games to play!
-Leon & Jacob
