4/16 8-9pm - Goblin Mode Improv - Western Sky Bar & Taproom - Englewood

Come see Goblin Mode turn your D&D stories into improv comedy. Thursday April 16, 2026 at 8pm

Unleash your inner goblin at GOBLIN MODE! Improv comedy for D&D audiences! We listen to your Tabletop RPG memories and turn them into laughs for fun and profit.

Never played or watched D&D and wonder if you'll like this? If you've seen Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones or read a romantasy book, you'll get most of the jokes.

Have a good D&D story? Or a friend who does? You might be part of what makes this show unforgettable.

Our show starts with an audience member telling a story about a memorable moment in a D&D game they really played. We interview them to draw out the interesting and funny details. Then we perform improvised scenes inspired by the story they told. We never know what'll happen in the scenes, but it's always absolute goblin behavior.

Check out our Instagram for show dates and clips! https://www.instagram.com/goblinmodecomedy/

The members of GOBLIN MODE are all experienced improv comedians and funny people who've played D&D (except for Ryan, he's our token normie - no one's allowed to tell him what DC stands for!) Most of us are Dungeon Masters ourselves.

If you're a D&D-liker, or D&D-curious, or your friends won't shut up about it: Join us for a night of comedy that'll make you fail your WIS save on Tasha's Hideous Laughter!

4/30 7-9pm - Oops! All Bards - Clocktower Cabaret - Denver

A comedic, immersive live-play D&D-like variety show.

They say it's good to have variety. A fighter, a healer, a tank, a wizard, an archer. And sometimes a party face, someone good with… morale. Communication.

Enter, the humble bard. Oft the butt of jokes, jokes they themselves likely made. They bring humor, they bring song, they bring talent. Things maybe not necessarily as useful on the battlefield.

But, what good is a fighter on a stage? What good is a brute at the talent show? Who needs healing in the theater! So when debt piles up and you need to pull together a squad to win the village talent show (that just so happens to offer exactly enough coin), who else would you call than the bards?

Witness a ragtag group of bards in an immersive, live-play D&D-inspired burlesque and comedy adventure as they attempt to claw their way out of debt by winning the village talent show. This high-energy stage spectacle blends live improv, theatrical storytelling, and variety performance with cabaret guest stars, all woven into a thrilling narrative packed with twists, triumphs, and tribulations. With audience interaction and real-time influence built into the journey, you won’t just watch the chaos unfold; you’ll become part of the quest yourself.

5/1-5/17 - Fridays/Saturdays at 7:30pm / Sundays at 2 pm - She Kills Monsters - Theater Company of Lafayette

A little past our monthly window, but wanted to give people some time to plan this one out.

"She Kills Monsters tells the story of Agnes Evans as she leaves her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, however, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all."

Creators' Corner

NoCo Tabletop

"Our Mission

To serve as the central hub for the Northern Colorado TTRPG community and bridge the gap between online intent and real-world tabletop play. Whether you are a veteran Game Master or a total newcomer, Tabletop NoCo is your Guild of Adventure. We focus exclusively on Community, Craft, and Matchmaking—creating a space where local players can forge new friendships, hone their skills through our in-person workshops, and assemble their companies around gaming tables in Northern Colorado."

These fine folks are doing much the same work that we're trying to do, but focused on the Northern portion of our state. In fact most of the info here about events that direction comes directly from their discord (including multiple entries in this very newsletter). If you are a gamer in their area you really should join their Discord.

WITCH: Historical Horror Roleplaying

The Kickstarter for WITCH is in its final days. From NamaStacy, the Colorado Springs GM and creator of the Moon Gate Exploration Co. WITCH takes players on a journey through 17th-Century North America, examining a variety of magical practices inspired by the history of North America. The campaign dives into folk magic, voudon, and a variety of rituals taken from historical sources. Although it's compatible with 5E, the vibe feels perfect for the Mörk Borg system.

Rewards from the Kickstarter include a virtual play experience – an opportunity to play WITCH with its creator, who is as horrifying as she is brilliant. Pledges end on April 15th, so check it out!

FLGS Flyer

Tween Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TTRPG) Program Assistant Application

Not quite a FLGS (but still friendly, local, and gaming related!), but the Pike's Peak Library District is looking for an Assistant for their Tween TTRPG Program.

"Location: East Library
Schedule: Second and Fourth Tuesday of each month, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. (Ongoing)
Age Requirement: 21+

About the Role:

Do you enjoy imagination, games, and helping kids have fun? We’re looking for a friendly and dependable volunteer to assist with a tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) program for tweens at the library. This program plays DnD as well as other role playing games, so experience as a DM or leading TTRPG is necessary.  You will co-lead this program with another person.  Support library staff and help participants create characters, understand gameplay, and enjoy a collaborative storytelling experience in a welcoming and inclusive environment."
