Mon 7/20 6:30-10:30pm - Denver Indie Roleplaying Tables (D.I.R.T.) - Bierstadt Lagerhaus - Denver
D.I.R.T. (previously Denver Indie RPG) is branching out in big ways! They've got 2 monthly games nights now, on the first and third Mondays! The third Monday sessions are still growing and could use some players, games running next week are:
Draw Steel - Delian Tomb - Draw Steel is MCDM's action oriented fantasy RPG built around tactical grid based combat where characters build up resources as they play making them stronger as the session goes on.
Royal Blood - "Royal Blood is a tabletop roleplaying game about heists, tarot cards, magic, fate and desperation. It uses a deck of tarot cards to build characters, plan a heist and determine opposition, and to resolve every risky action the players make in an attempt to claim power."
In addition they are planning a 10 table spooky season event called Little Lagerhaus of Horrors for October 18th. The image above is a sneak peek of a zine that some of the folks there are putting together.

Sat 7/25 11am– 12:30pm - Zine Pricing Workshop - Denver Public Library Bob Ragland Branch Community Room B - Denver
While this isn't directly RPG related, but I know there's a huge overlap in zines from our community. This seems fun and is a great excuse to check out the Denver Zine Library and their zine club that meets every last Saturday starting at 3pm.
"We know that pricing art can be hard, and there are so many ways to go about it! Join us in this 1.5 hour workshop covering topics related to zine making and distribution! Learn about different methods of printing, distribution, and production and how that impacts how zines are priced!
From 11am-12:30pm on July 25 in Community Room B at the Bob Ragland Denver Public Library Branch- right next to the Denver Zine Library.
All are welcome!"

Sat 7/25 10am– 10pm - Gamer's Giving RPG Day - Do Gooder Games - Thornton
Join Gamer's Giving, a local charity dedicated to supporting gamers and communities in Colorado, for a day of RPGs at Do Gooder Games!
We still need GMs and players to make this a great day. So sign up and let us know what you'd like to run/play!

Sat 7/25 3-11pm - Ship of the Dead RPG Club - Urban Cafe - Denver
Meet fellow Colorado OSR, NuSR, and Free League Publishing -style
tabletop RPG GMs and players. Hosted by Limithron (creator of Pirate Borg) and the Ship of the Dead Podcast. Games running this month:
3-6pm Slot:
Twilight Sword - Save File 1: The Trials of Twilight Island. This will be continuation of the session Nicholas ran last SotD (see 6/13/26 entry for Twilight Sword) though new players are more than welcome to press start and join in.
Dungeon Inc: Certification Test - Be a monster! Delve dungeons. Slay adventurers. Collect your paycheck. Spend it all on a date with that kobold cutie from Accounting. Playing the Quickstart Mission titled Certified?
Last Train to Bremen - a new boxed GMless story game. Thirteen years ago, four struggling musicians made a deal with the Devil, and now they are huddled in a freight car trying to outrun their end of the bargain. Players use a Liar's Dice mechanic to wage bets and trigger roleplay flashbacks. Content warning: features adult themes including band hookups.
7-11pm Slot:
Pirate Borg - Prison Break on the Endgame- you've been captured and held for questioning on The HMS Endgame. While your British captors have treated you well as privateers, strange happenings occur aboard the Endgame. Will you fight with your captors or seek freedom at any cost, when the world itself seems to bleed?
The hosts of the event are a bit more vague in their offerings, but I've never had a bad session with either Tyler (who is offering Something with Knights) or Luke (who is debating between a Fantasy OSR game/module and Goons & Ghosts [Ghostbusters rules light RPG]).
Event Calendar & MyMaps
For ease of use we've got these events and more on a Google Calendar and on MyMaps. Note the Add to Google Calendar (or + if on mobile) to add it to your own calendar. Know of anything we've missed or something for a future edition of this newsletter? Fill out our event submission form to get it on the calendar!
This is a map of the locations featured in the newsletter to make them easier to plan. Let us know of any more we should add, things like recurring game nights at stores, libraries, bars or wherever would be amazing to add to this list!
This map shows the various Friendly Local Game Stores around Colorado that are great for TTRPG players. Your favorite place to buy/play RPGs not on the map? Let us know what it is so we can add it!
Creator's Corner
Thanks to Limithron's Zac Goins there's a bunch of indie ttrpg projects funding right now with his Side Quests initiative. Several of them also happen to be by fellow Coloradoans! (Note: Jacob's done some proofreading for each of these fine folks but has nothing to do with these projects. He just likes them and the stuff they make!)

A House That Ate Itself - by Reliquary Games
A Social Combat & Intrigue Supplement for Mythic Bastionland
Austin talked to Jacob at Genghis Con about an idea for re-configuring the combat rules of Mythic Bationland for social situations. It sounded great then, and it looks fantastic now!

Damp, Dark Doom - by Jesse Winter
A high-stakes pamphlet adventure for Shadowdark RPG
Jacob backed Jesse's last adventure and was blown away by the weird ideas inside. Looks like Jesse has some similar thoughts on how to mess around with the layout and design of these modules of abyssal horror for Shadowdark.

Avenge the White Mare - by Michael Putlack
The first Attack the Light zine! Features amazing hand-carved reduction print art. Are you ready to face the imposing Sárkány dragon?
Hand carved art? Based on a folktale? A dragon? A Curse? It's like Michael wrote this with Jacob in mind. If these things also appeal to you, check out the campaign!
Well that's all for this edition of the RPG Colorado Newsletter! Thank you very much for reading. We hope you find some games to play!
